How MoveBank simplified regulatory compliance and put marketing back in control

Challenges

MoveBank’s previous website platform created compliance roadblocks that left marketing completely  dependent on developers. Launching a campaign, creating a new page, promoting a banking product or improving the customer experience all required development work. Between this, a rigid content model, and heavy use of rich text; it was difficult for their marketing team to keep layouts and branding consistent.

The necessity to ensure strict adherance to financial regulations made every change even slower. The same legal disclosures were duplicated across many pages, publishing was largely manual, and the volume of product content kept growing.

Each update had to meet the bank’s core obligations:

  • Present accurate product information

  • Display the correct interest rates, fees and disclosures

  • Follow approval and governance processes

  • Remain consistent with the brand

With a new brand rollout approaching, MoveBank needed a financial services CMS that gave marketers more independence while making compliance easier to manage. All these hurdles left their team asking: how can we stay compliant, publish more content, and empower marketers with our current platform?

Solutions

MoveBank partnered with Zeroseven to rebuild their site, with a bold new design, on Xperience by Kentico SaaS. The solution combines a self-service page creation experience for marketers with a custom product management system that can maintain the regulated data they depend on. It also included a new product management system, for easier maintanence of their products, rates, and fees. This also meant they'd have automated disclosures, along with approvals and audit history.

Favorite new site features:

  • Reusable page components: marketers assemble new pages and campaigns themselves, without developer support

  • Consistent brand presentation: approved building blocks replace free-form rich text, keeping every page on-brand

  • Central product and rate management: products, interest rates and fees are updated once and reflected everywhere they appear

  • Automated legal disclosures: the right footnotes attach to product components automatically, and page-level disclaimers compile dynamically

  • Secure broker hub: brokers get a members-only portal with dedicated resources and protected content

Approval workflows, permissions, version control and full audit history run across both the website and the product system. MoveBank's new platform has a bold new look with helpful features for customers, complete with a fresh-new experience for marketers.

Why Kentico?

MoveBank went with Xperience by Kentico because it balances marketing autonomy with governance a bank can't operate without. The SaaS platform provides structured, reusable content and built-in workflows out of the box. It was also extensible enough for Zeroseven to build banking-specific product and compliance features directly inside the CMS.

Out-of-the-box and platform features used:

  • Centralised content repository for reusable content

  • Content workflows, approvals and role-based permissions

  • Scheduled publishing and version history

  • Membership capabilities powering the secure broker hub

Custom-developed features include:

  • A product management system for products, rates, fees, disclosures and regulatory content

  • Automatic association of disclosures and footnotes with product components

  • Dynamically compiled page-level disclaimers

The result? A secure and compliant banking website where marketing and governance work together instead of against each other.

Statistics

The rebuild on Xperience by Kentico unified marketing and governance at MoveBank, with the marketing team now owning the majority of the publishing process. Publishing content and releasing timely updates is no longer a concern for their team.

Results included:

  • Interest rate changes scheduled in advance rather than published manually

  • Product information managed centrally and kept consistent across the website

  • Simpler management of content and legal disclosures, with less duplication

  • Lower ongoing maintenance and reduced reliance on developers

  • Greater control over brand, content and compliance

Future plans

MoveBank plans to build on their platform with personalized customer journeys to take their experience a step further for their clients with options tailored exactly for their banking needs. They've shared that their next steps include marketing automation and customer segmentation, data-informed customer experiences, and AI-assisted customer insights that will help them continue innovating well into the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

MoveBank rebuilt its website on Xperience by Kentico SaaS with digital agency Zeroseven, pairing a library of approved, reusable page components with built-in governance. Marketers now assemble pages and campaigns themselves instead of waiting on developers. Approval workflows, role-based permissions, version control and full audit history run across both the website and its product system, so every change still follows the bank’s compliance process.
Yes. MoveBank’s Xperience by Kentico website attaches the correct footnotes to product components automatically and compiles page-level disclaimers dynamically. Zeroseven custom-built this feature inside the CMS, so the disclosures shown always match the products on the page. This removed the duplicated, manually maintained legal text that had slowed publishing on MoveBank’s previous platform.
MoveBank manages products, interest rates, fees and disclosures in one central product management system, so a single update is reflected everywhere that product appears. Zeroseven built this system directly inside Xperience by Kentico. Rate changes can also be scheduled in advance rather than published manually, which reduces the risk of outdated or inconsistent figures on a regulated banking site.
Banks choose Xperience by Kentico because it balances marketing autonomy with the governance a regulated institution needs. The CMS for financial services includes structured content modeling, a reusable Page Builder, workflows, scheduled publishing, version history and membership features out of the box. It is also extensible enough for partners like Zeroseven to build banking-specific product and compliance tools directly into the CMS.
MoveBank now has a compliant website that its marketing team largely runs on its own, earning Kentico Site of the Month for September 2026. The bank reports less reliance on developers, lower ongoing maintenance and simpler management of legal disclosures. Next, MoveBank plans to add personalised customer journeys, marketing automation, customer segmentation and AI-assisted customer insights.
