Kentico has done it again! Thanks to everyone that contributed a review on G2, not only have we been named a Leader in G2’s Grid® Report for Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) for Winter 2023, but we’re also a Momentum Leader, which means we’ve ranked in the top 25% of DXPs.
Who is G2 and what is The Grid®?
G2.com is an impartial peer-to-peer review site that helps its users select the right software and services for their business, by providing authentic, verified, up-to-date reviews that it collects through its community and other online sources.
Each quarter, G2 releases its The Grid® Report, in which it scores products and vendors on customer satisfaction and market presence. It then ranks them based on a combination of the two, allowing for direct product comparison and market trend analysis.
We’re proud to feature in the digital experience platform (DXP) report. G2 defines a DXP as being “an integrated set of core technologies that support the creation, management, and delivery of omnichannel digital experiences”, the feature set of which “allows marketers to orchestrate personalized experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints”.
To be included in the DXP category, products must:
- Provide content management capabilities and media storage
- Facilitate the rapid development of websites, portals, or applications
- Connect customer data with digital media through the use of APIs
- Allow for personalization of digital content through the use of customer data
- Provide analytics tool to measure content performance and user experience
So, how did Kentico do in the Winter 2023 report?

We’re delighted that we have been placed among the Leaders in G2’s Grid® Report for Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) for Winter 2023, earning a strong Market Presence score of 66 and a sensational Satisfaction score of 83, the latter of which ranks us first among (and well above) alternative solutions on the market.
It means a lot to us that Kentico is ranked so highly among users on G2. We’re proud of our global G2 Score of 75 as it proves that all the great work we’ve been doing over the past quarter to constantly improve our offering is actively helping our customers deliver winning digital experiences to theirs… across all channels and devices, quickly, efficiently, and confidently.
Delivering the goods and delighting customers
We’ve already heard G2’s definition of a what a DXP is and what it should allow marketers to do. What the G2 Grid® report does is zoom in on the various elements, product capabilities, and vendor qualities it considers essential to a user’s selection of a DXP solution, and gives each a score to enable direct comparison. This helps users choose a solution that is most aligned with their specific requirements and goals. Here’s our latest scores:
1. Customer satisfaction
Making our customers happy is the reason we get up in the morning. So, we were elated to learn that, among our top 10 closest competitors, Kentico leads the way when it comes to customer satisfaction.
A whopping 95% of users say that Kentico meets their requirements (which is well ahead of the average of 89%). A very healthy 93% of people say they’re willing to recommend our product. And our score of 98% for customers saying we’re heading in the right direction is not only 12% above average, but shows all that hard work is definitely paying off!

2. The vendor relationship
At Kentico, we really are passionate about being human, relatable, and authentic. We want our customers to feel welcomed and supported, and to know that we really do care about their success. So, to learn that we scored an incredible 86% for ease of doing business with (beating Sitecore and Sitefinity) and 93% for quality of support (which was well above average of 87% and Sitecore’s score of 75%), was music to our ears!

3. Ease of use
We are delighted to have earned a healthy 90% for ease of use and are chuffed with our above-average 87% score for ease of admin (a full 13% higher than Sitecore and Magnolia). For ease of setup, we were pleased to earn 86%, leaving Sitecore and others in the rear-view mirror for that one too.
