Why I love Kentico
I feel like I have matured together with Kentico. Many of us started working here during our studies so in the time since, we’ve grown up, got married, started our own families, etc. And to the company’s immense credit, Kentico has always been highly sensitive and reactive to our changing needs and lifestyles. Recently, we added two weeks off for new fathers as a benefit, and there are now more children than adults at our team-building events!
The atmosphere in Kentico is amazing. We understand that each one of us is unique with a specific blend of skills and weaknesses so we try to let people grow in an area of their choice as long as it is aligned with the company’s goals. I get up every morning looking forward to the fresh challenges Kentico will bring me that day.
My job at Kentico
My job at Kentico is very diverse and that's what I like about it. My main responsibility is to oversee the Development Department of the Kentico Xperience division. I help the dev teams to overcome issues, I plan our budget, and I monitor the efficiency of our work. In cooperation with product management and UX, I set out the roadmap for our digital experience platform.
The hardest part of my job is keeping Kentico Xperience developers happy, but despite occasional bumps in the road, I am very enthusiastic about working with such industrious and skilled people. I am proud of the atmosphere we have among the development teams. We are open, we trust each other, and we help each other grow.
I came to Kentico in 2010 right after college. Before that, I developed websites for small businesses as a student. Since then, the atmosphere at Kentico means I’ve never been tempted to look elsewhere. I started as QA Engineer, then I got promoted to QA Manager, I led the DevOps Department, and now I manage the whole of Kentico Xperience development.
