The Canadian Red Cross needed a responsive website that would suit the user needs of an always-connected, multi-device world, and motivate and empower donors to give wherever, whenever. Mobile traffic has shown an incredible 217.2% increase in revenue, and overall revenue has risen by 32.5%.

The year-on-year (January 2015 vs. 2016) results of the project:

43.1% increase in overall conversion rate
217.2% increase in revenue on mobile devices
57.3% increase in conversion rate on mobile devices
31% reduction in bounce rate on mobile devices
77.5% increase in mobile search engine traffic

ecentricarts created a responsive user interface, upgraded the site to Kentico, and implemented new, innovative online fundraising solutions.

Technology Solutions:

  • Data-driven design informed by A/B testing
  • a Kentico custom module developed to import content for over 1,700 branch and service combinations
  • Kentico’s Content Staging during production for working on new branches of content in the development build while content was updated daily on the live site
  • Personalization based on geo-location and proximity filters, showing users custom data on the home page banner and on the Programs and Services pages
