How DHB Bank's upgrade continues to support their long-term goals
DHB Bank enlisted Aviva Solutions to implement the upgrade, revamp the outdated design, and refresh the textual content of their four websites. Their aim was to elevate the websites' role in customer acquisition, emphasizing the customer journey and lifecycle.
-
Strengthen customer acquisition by focusing on the end-to-end customer journey
-
Improve engagement and trust through clearer guidance and storytelling
-
Reduce support inquiries while gaining deeper customer insights
They sought to provide enhanced support and guidance, leveraging storytelling to boost engagement and bolster customer trust. By doing so, they anticipated a reduction in inquiries, emails, and phone calls, while gaining deeper customer insights.
The primary challenge lay in upgrading and redesigning DHB Bank's four existing websites to the latest version of Kentico. Each website catered to a different audience: the Corporate site targeted businesses, while the Dutch and German sites featured calculators to drive user engagement. The Belgian site had its own set of calculator requirements. Customizing the solution to meet the diverse objectives of each site was pivotal, encompassing everything from language-specific content to unique user experiences for improved personalization.
Of course, security remained paramount throughout the development process.
Aviva leveraged Kentico to support DHB Bank’s multi-site environment, enabling shared components across all four country-specific sites while still allowing for localized variations in design and content. This approach gives content editors greater flexibility in building and organizing pages, while ensuring consistency across markets. The solution also integrates key internal systems and analytics tools to support dynamic content and performance measurement.

With a strong digital foundation in place, the focus now shifts to building on current momentum through ongoing optimization and strategic enhancements.
