Kentico has appointed a new VP EngineeringPetr Svihlikto deliver on the company’s long-term vision and the delivery of Xperience by Kentico, its hybrid headless DXP.

Brno, CZ & Bedford, NH, June 6, 2023—Today, Kentico, the award-winning provider of digital experience and content management solutions, announced the appointment of Petr Svihlik as VP Engineering who will support the company with its vision for its new product, Xperience by Kentico, which is starting to see real traction in the market. 

Ever-strengthening leadership team

To deliver growth with its new product, Xperience by Kentico, Kentico continues to strengthen its leadership team by welcoming Petr Svihlik back to the company after two years at Microsoft, where he helped shape the Developer Experience for the Azure Communication Services. 

Svihlik originally started working with Kentico back in 2007 as a software engineer and later as a tech lead. Then, in 2015 he re-joined the Kentico team to help raise the awareness of the developer communities and grew the impact and importance of the developer relations program in the company till his departure in 2021. 

“I was lucky to be the founding member of Developer Relations in Kentico,” said Svihlik. “Over the years, I built and led a team of self-motivated and self-organized tech unicorns—folks who could wear many hats but were given the chance to stay true to the developer community and deliver the highest possible value.” 

Kentico is delighted that Petr Svihlik is back to support the company in improving its long-term vision and the delivery of its future flagship product, Xperience by Kentico.

First Xperience by Kentico projects go live

The first live projects built on Xperience by Kentico are starting to flood in, and many others are still in development. 

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau wanted to modernize its website with a future-proof digital experience platform (DXP) that would enable them to better engage users with personalized experiences. With the help of Kentico Gold Partner Ntara, they now have an impressive new 3,500-page website on Xperience by Kentico, which not only provides them with improved functionality, more streamlined API calls, and better performance, but also the ability to create and deliver ultra-personalized experiences. 

Meanwhile, German football club Mainz 05 chose Kentico partners kuehlhaus AG and Bluesoft to launch a new website on Xperience by Kentico that would mold around the club’s unique needs. Due to launch soon, the flexibility of the solution and the speed with which it is being developed is setting them up for a swift launch with planned ongoing development in sync with the roadmap of the DXP, adding features like Email Marketing and Cross-site Tracking.
