Petr Palas founded Kentico in 2004 and spent two decades building it into one of the most recognized digital experience platforms in the world, trusted by thousands of enterprises and digital agencies across global markets.
Starting from a single product vision in Brno, Petr guided Kentico through the full evolution of the web: from early CMS to cloud-based technology before cloud was the default, to hybrid-headless architecture before the market had settled on the terminology, to AI-powered content solutions at the frontier of where the category is heading now. Each of those moves required not just technical foresight but the organizational discipline to commit to a direction before the industry confirmed it was right. In 2022, following the successful spin-off of Kontent.ai, a significant and complex strategic undertaking in its own right, Petr transitioned to Chairman of the Board. That shift was not a step back.
