Kentico Introduces the Kentico Mobile Competency Program for Partners

Nashua, New Hampshire, USA, February 17, 2014 – Kentico Software, the Web Content and Customer Experience Management provider, today introduced the new Kentico Mobile Competency Program while recognizing several partners for their achievements in meeting the program’s requirements.

The Kentico Mobile Competency is awarded to Kentico Gold Certified partners who demonstrate special expertise in using Kentico CMS to create websites that utilize responsive or adaptive based design for a minimum of three customers.
“We’re delighted to offer this special recognition to Kentico partners who demonstrate extraordinary skill in creating mobile-friendly sites using Kentico CMS,” said John Swanson, Global Channel Director at Kentico Software. “With more people depending on their mobile devices for browsing while on the go, providing mobile-friendly customer experiences has become a competitive necessity.”
Digital agency Burns Marketing is among the first Kentico Gold partners to meet the Kentico Mobile Competency Program requirements. Implementations include a new website created for the industry leader in sales performance solutions Miller Heiman.
“For just about any company doing business in today’s web-driven world, a mobile-friendly website is an absolute imperative,” said Rob Bean, Vice President of New Media at Burns Marketing. “With Kentico’s built-in responsive design capabilities, we’re able to launch sites that provide customers the rich experience they deserve and the information they want, regardless of the device they use.”

With the responsive design capabilities of Kentico CMS, a single website design is automatically adapted on the fly for different screen sizes to provide a full desktop experience on any mobile device. Going beyond the standard responsive design technique, developers can also control web page layout on the server side, defining specific mobile layouts for particular device profiles, ensuring the page only contains rendered content for faster load times.
