Kentico Awarded Fast 50 Rising Star by Deloitte
Nashua, New Hampshire, USA, November 3, 2009 – Kentico Software (http://www.kentico.com), the Web content management system vendor, was ranked by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe. Kentico Software achieved 710% three-year growth.
Kentico Software was ranked 5th in the Rising Stars category in the Central European region.
“It’s challenging to keep up the position in the ranking, so we are happy that even in times of the global recession, we increased our three-year growth from 533% to 710% compared to the previous year results,” said Petr Palas, Kentico founder and CEO.
“The award reflects the fact that Kentico CMS became a full-featured enterprise-level solution during the last 5 years. It meets the demanding needs of notable clients including Microsoft, McDonald's, Gibson, Bayer, ESPN, Medibank, Guinness and many others” said Eric Webb, Director of business development. “Still, Kentico offers affordable licensing, so it is used by more than 4000 Web sites across the vertical market in 83 countries.”
Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an annual announcement of fifty fastest growing technology companies. The Rising Stars sub-category comprises quickly growing young technology companies. Rising Stars companies have to meet a number of criteria, such as yearly revenues of at least €30,000 in each of the last three years (2006–2008), they must develop or manufacture proprietary technologies or spend a significant amount of capital on research & development, and have an ownership structure that excludes majority owned subsidiaries of strategic entities.
Kentico will showcase its content management solution at the Gilbane Conference in Boston, Massachusets in December.
