We’ve been investing
Over the years, we have seen a change in customers’ needs and clocked a noticeable shift in the market from web content management towards digital experience platforms. Even Gartner has retired its Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, choosing instead to focus on other areas, including digital experience platforms. For four years running (2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019), Kentico Software was recognized as a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management and now we’re fortunate enough to be included in the latest 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms.
Back in 2011, we introduced one of the first digital experience platforms on the market with a product that combined content management, digital marketing, and commerce capabilities. Since then, we’ve rebranded that product from Kentico EMS to Kentico Xperience to ensure our product’s evolution is clearly communicated and accurately reflects the changes we’ve made in line with market demand.
Plus, we’ve continued to expand our customer success team to ensure both our partners and clients are successful in implementing those integrations and successful in utilizing core capabilities to create valuable digital experiences that deliver results. We’ve also invested a significant amount of time to ensure we bring more clarity around our products. Most recently, we have been focusing on communicating that with Kentico Xperience (formerly EMS) teams can build their digital experiences with a platform that delivers multiple functionality and Kentico Kontent is more for enterprise customers who create their digital experience stack using specialized solutions.
What the Gartner Magic Quadrant means to us and you
We believe our inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms is a testament to our dedication to creating a seamless DXP for businesses worldwide. It’s something we’re immensely proud of and a great recognition to showcase alongside our recent win with G2 having been awarded a Leader with six badges in the G2 Grid for DXPs.
Looking ahead, we’re going to focus on developing Kentico Xperience by investing further into .NET Core and making improvements to the product architecture. We’re going to continue to support partners and clients with the tools they need. That includes continuing to offer 24/7 global technical support and hiring the best talent to join our existing team in our headquarters in the Czech Republic and across our offices in the US, UK, Netherlands, Singapore, and Australia.
Today, Kentico Xperience powers more than 30,000 websites across 120 countries worldwide. For many years, it has become the solution of choice that has helped thousands of companies accelerate their digital transformation, including Allergan, Konica Minolta, Land O’ Lakes, PPG, and Red Cross. All this wouldn’t be possible without our valued customers, including our trusted network of 1,000+ partners and growing number of valued clients. So here’s to you!
