The setup of Kentico CMS at Applied Innovations is very straightforward:

1.       Sign up for a hosting plan at https://www.appliedi.net.
2.       You will receive an e-mail from Applied Innovations with logon information for the Control Panel.
3.       Sign in to the Control Panel at https://control.appliedi.net.
4.       Go to Home -> Domains -> (Choose your domain) -> Database Manager and create new database.
5.       Go to Home -> Domains -> (Choose your domain) -> Web Site Settings and ensure Default Docs include 'Default.aspx' document name.
6.       Run Kentico Web Installer and install Kentico CMS on your local machine:
1.       Choose target folder.
2.       Finish the installation process.
7.       Copy the files installed on your disk by the Kentico Web Installer to the Applied Innovations server over FTP. You can either find your FTP logon information in sent e-mail from Applied Innovations or you can find it in your Control Panel -> Home -> Domains -> (Choose your domain) -> FTP Accounts.
1.       You can either upload the files directly in the root of your web site or you can upload your web application to a subdirectory.
2.       If you choose to upload your files to a subdirectory, you will need to configure it as a virtual directory in your Control Panel -> Home -> Domains -> (Choose your domain) -> Virtual Directories.
3.       If you do not have a full key, contact support@kentico.com and obtain a 30 day trial key.
8.       Launch your web application and you will be displayed with database setup screen. Enter the database connection details that you find in the Control Panel -> Home -> Domains -> (Choose your domain) -> Database Manager. Choose to use an existing database and enter your database name.
9.      The system creates tables in your database.
10.  Now you can either create the sample Corporate Site or run the New site wizard.
11.   You're done.
