Kentico CMS for ASP.NET

Kentico Releases a Full-Featured CMS for ASP.NET

Brno, Czech Republic, April 18, 2005 – Kentico Software, the vendor of Web content management solutions, has just released an updated version of Kentico CMS for ASP.NET. Version 1.6 represents a major milestone since it provides a complete set of features required by most .NET developers.

The new version 1.6 integrates advanced content management features, such as versioning, workflow, multilingual support or granular security system into single, easy-to-use solution. With this version, web owners can apply the same mechanisms and processes to both database content and media files. It means that you can use versioning or full-text search to all web content seamlessly.

"We've been constantly updating Kentico CMS since the first beta and we found out that this is what our customers really appreciate. We release a new version every one or two months which allows us to fix bugs and implement new requirements very quickly," says Petr Palas, founder of Kentico Software. "Now that we have finished the core features, we are going to make the development and usage of our system even easier and to add extending modules, such as Newsletter, Events Calendar or E-commerce module."
