Haven't been to Kentico Connection? You missed a lot. Kentico Connection, our first annual conference, was a big success. For attendees from 16 countries, Kentico Connection was a great opportunity to meet with Kentico team and network with other partners and clients.
During the Kentico Connection sessions, the attendees saw how to use Kentico, how to get more out of it and also what they can expect in the next versions. They saw how the next version 5.5 R2 is going to support Kentico use for intranets, extranets and collaboration websites. We demoed new features, such as Document Management with native support for Microsoft Office documents using WebDAV, Project Management module, Workgroups for sharing and collaboration and easy creation of departmental websites. Kentico CMS 5.5 R2 will be available by the end of this year.
The next big version, Kentico CMS 6 generated huge interest among attendees. Everybody seemed excited about the upcoming On-line Marketing features, as well as new enterprise features, such as health monitoring or granular backup/restore. V6 will be available around the middle of the next year and we will be publishing more details in the upcoming months.
We've seen a lot of success with the Ask the Experts session that was sponsored by Microsoft and that gave the attendees a unique opportunity to talk to our core development and product management team and get answers even to most complex questions or see what improvements are planned for particular modules.
But Kentico Connection wasn't only about Kentico. It was also about our clients and their projects. Ayush Chaturvedi presented how Newsmax optimized their Kentico-powered website NewsMax.com to serve more than 20,000,000 page views per month. Guy Malachi showcased the Conduit.com website that handles 3,000,000 visits per month with Kentico CMS.
At the end, we draw 9 winners who received a 64GB iPad 3G, five XBOXes (provided by Microsoft) and 3 bottles of unique Moravian wine.
And best of all: most attendees told us they would come to Kentico Connection next year again! If you didn't make it to this year's Kentico Connection, we hope to see you next year!

Beside Kentico Connection, we experienced another big success last week: Kentico was awarded Fast 50 by Deloitte that ranked Kentico fastest growing technology company in the Czech Republic and the fourth fastest growing company in Central Europe. We achieved 1781% growth over the last 5 years and it's a great opportunity to say thank you to all our loyal clients and partners!

Our first annual conference - Kentico Connection - is over. Attendees could meet with Kentico employees including CEO, CTO, Product Evangelist, Technical leaders etc. and also with external speakers from Microsoft, Google and Optimics.
We also provided attendees with Kentico CMS 55R2 CTP version, printed posters, first Kentico CMS book and other benefits.

Kentico Sites with the Highest Load - Conduit.com
How Kentico CMS handles very high traffic and its sudden peak loads? The Kentico-powered Conduit.com with over 3 million visitors per month is a proof of great performance of Kentico CMS. Conduit.com® itself is an interesting project that powers Community Toolbars and apps for over 250,000 web publishers and their 170 million users – the largest network of its kind in the world. The free Conduit Platform enables publishers to quickly create and manage their own customized browser apps and Community Toolbars. Publishers can then distribute their apps both directly to their communities, as well as via the Conduit App Marketplace, and engage users constantly beyond the boundaries of their website.
Recently, the free Conduit Banner module was submitted at the Kentico Marketplace. It enables the seamless integration of Conduit Community Toolbar banners into any Kentico installation.
Kentico CMS Allows You to Build 508 Compliant Websites
Section 508 generally requires US Federal agencies to ensure that, when developing, procuring, maintaining, or using electronic and information technology, they take into account the needs of all end users – including people with disabilities. Kentico CMS supports Section 508 accessible standard since version 4.1.
One of the 508 compliant projects on Kentico CMS is Royal Dutch Visio implemented by IBL-Software BV, Kentico Gold Partner.

Bayleys Manage 330 Sites in a Single Installation
A New Zealand company Bayleys Real Estate has deployed Kentico CMS to manage 330+ websites of their agents. They leverage the multi-site support in Kentico CMS. The solution, delivered by Datacom manages pages for each of their agents, as well as agent -specific property search results; upcoming auctions, latest listings and recently sold properties.
Using Kentico CMS multi-site support, the websites enables agents to manage their own unique website.
