Kentico Software was founded by Petr Palas in June 2004. The company has been growing organically, without any external funding or loans since then. It has been profitable since the first year on the market.

Major Milestones

  • May 2010 - Kentico grows to 62 employees and moves to a new office
  • May 2010 - Kentico CMS 5.5 released
  • April 2010 - Kentico launches Certified Training
  • December 2009 - Kentico CMS 5.0 released
  • November 2009 - Kentico named Deloitte Fast 50 Rising Star for the second consecutive year
  • March 2009 - Kentico Software was selected as a finalist in the Red Herring 100 Europe Award for 2009

  • February 2009 - Kentico CMS 4.0 released
  • November 2008 - Kentico opens U.S. office in Nashua, New Hampshire
  • October 2008 - Kentico named fastest growing young technology company in the Czech Republic in Deloitte Fast 50 Awards
  • May 2008 - Kentico becomes Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
  • January 2008 - Kentico CMS 3.0 released
